At SARANGUEREL, Child of Cashmere, ethics are not a trend: they are the very origin of the brand.

From its creation, SARANGUEREL wanted to give a new meaning to high-end cashmere: to offer exceptional pieces resulting from fair and solidarity trade, respecting the women and men who perpetuate this ancestral know-how in Mongolia.

Its story begins in the heart of the vast Mongolian steppes, meeting small nomadic herders carefully selected in different provinces of the country. Alongside its local partner, it has built sustainable and transparent relationships with these herder families, convinced that exceptional cashmere is born first and foremost from the quality of its raw material.

Each spring, the goats raised according to natural pastoral traditions offer a rare and precious down: cashmere among the finest in the world. Harvested with delicacy, this 100% cashmere down is then processed with respect for artisanal techniques passed down through generations.

All items are certified compliant with the export standards of the Central Bureau of Standards of Mongolia, as well as CCIM standards.

The main workshop, specialized for over fifteen years in high-end cashmere knitwear, is renowned for its artisanal excellence and has received several Mongolian and international awards and certificates for the quality of its high-end creations.

Some ecological pieces from traditional organic farming are still hand-knitted, without electricity, by women working in small workshops in Ulaanbaatar and soon in different Mongolian provinces.

Through each creation, SARANGUEREL, creator and expert, wishes to transmit much more than a garment: a story, a culture, a deep respect for life and craftsmanship.
