Do you want to hand wash or machine wash your cashmere, but don't know how?

Our advice is invaluable because we have inherited cashmere know-how from the Mongolian steppe, so we know exactly how to care for it.

Cashmere loves to be washed!

We advise you to machine wash it on the wool program, cold temperature and low spin, preferably in a lingerie bag or a pillowcase, or to gently hand wash it in cold water without rubbing or wringing. Roll it lightly, without twisting it, in a terry towel.

Do not wash it with shampoo or soap; a small capful of liquid wool detergent is enough.

Rinse several times with clear water to completely remove the washing product.

Do not leave your cashmere item in water for too long as this could compress the material.

To dry it, place it flat on a clean, dry terry towel, away from any heat source, to avoid distorting its shape. You can change the towel several times to air it out and allow for quicker drying.

Ironing will not be necessary if you haven't twisted your cashmere when wringing it out and have laid it flat to regain its shape. However, if you must iron it, always do so inside out, with a steam iron that has a high-quality soleplate, or place a damp cotton cloth between the product and your iron (not too hot), then proceed gently to avoid crushing the fibers.

If it pills, you can remove the pilling with adhesive tape; your product will then regain its luster and be like new again.

You can fold it and store it flat, not hung.

When perfuming yourself, never apply perfume directly to the cashmere item you are wearing, as this could damage it, especially if you use a colored perfume.

If you get a sauce, coffee, or wine stain, never try to remove it with bleach. Do not soak the product, do not brush it, as it would felt. It is best to have it cleaned by a specialist.

Do not use fabric softener or conditioner.

If you regularly care for your cashmere product according to our advice, it will become increasingly soft and remain beautiful for many years.
